INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION OF HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES IN LUČE, SLOVENIA

What: Installation and connection of three household batteries at pilot site Luče

Where: Luče, Slovenia 

When: January 2020 

The project has actively started the 2020 and with the help of COMPILE partner PETROL, the pilot site Luče in Slovenia has been enriched with three household batteries. Two household batteries of 10 kW / 23,2 kWh and one of 10 kW / 11,6 kWh have been successfully installed and connected to the grid in Slovenian village Luče. With this step, renewable energy community Luče is even closer to the goal of lowering cost of electrical energy, solving problems concerning repetitive interruptions and becoming first self-sufficient energy community in Slovenia. 

This installation goes in line with the community battery instalment whose integration into grid will be finished in the next weeks.
