The study is the result of the collaboration of the Institute Nikos Poulantzas (INP), COMPILE partner SmartRue (ICCS-NTUA) and the research teams ThinkBee, a cooperative for progressive policies.

Nikos Poulantzas Institute systematically participates in the dialogue on the climate crisis and puts the effort into developing and supporting workable solutions that guarantee that the transition to a green economy will focus on social justice. In this context, he presented the study “The role of energy communities in the fair energy transition in Greece”.

The main purpose of this study is to highlight the important role that citizens, small and medium-sized enterprises and local government can play in the process of the energy transition to climate neutrality, ensuring justice and contributing to tackling energy poverty.
