On the 13th of July Excite project organized an online workshop on the topic of Discussing the status of Renewable Energy Communities in Austria, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria and North Macedonia.
Project coordinator Tomi Medved from Laboratory of energy policy, University of Ljubljana shared experience from pilot site Luče in Slovenia as a part of the theme Overview to the status of RECs in Slovenia.
The target group of the workshop was EEA national officers from the pilot countries. The main aim was to develop an innovative business model(s) to boost the issues of active collective prosumers and RES energy communities based on self-consumption with the participation of local authorities.
